day 14 abington to inverkeithing rain, rain and the forth bridge!

a service station breakfast bap and up and away, trying to race the enormous amount of forcasted rain due to pursue us eastward. Fair zipping along today, coffe and cake in a village bakery and hounded by the deluge into a dinner stop in a garden centre. Fab finale over tne forth bridge, but no photos yet cos of technical hitches. Have a new phone, same number, so am back communicado. 55 (bedraggled) miles. Rachel.

    Wow, you are all doing so well, over the Forth Bridge already. You must be at the peak of your physical and mental fitness, and that must feel great.
    We are heading up North today.... which I am sorry to say is probably why it is so wet (You know our luck with holiday weather Barbara!) Don't worry, the further North you go, the further away you will be from us and it will get brighter again!Mind you we have just been away camping with friends and it didn't rain everyday!
    Whenever we have been home we have really enjoyed reading your blogs and seeing the photos. We feel definite that you will all make it to the end, so incase we are not back before that amazing day, WELL DONE. This is such an achievement. Can't wait to hear all about it.

    We're all avidly following your progress from here in Somerset. Looks to be going pretty well - very impressed we are. Pictures are great - expect to see plenty more when you have finished.

    Hello again.

    I remember the Forth Bridge looking like that. You realy are making me think I must go up to Scotlang again before too long.

    I think the words I got for the Pushbike Song were done by someone who couldn't hear the words clearly. The second line is supposed to be 'When I noticed you'. There's a Top of the Pops video on YouTube which I found after Mike asked me about it.

    Today's offering is from Madness, as promised. I can't say I rememeber it. But I am sure if you think 'Baggy Trousers' and 'Da Da, Diddle Diddle Da Da' before you start you could get near it. One person starts and the others do an echo.

    Riding On My Bike

    I went riding on my bike (he went riding on his bike)
    With a spanner, pump, back and front light (with a spanner, pump, back and front light)
