almost ready for the off

rach and gig have arrived in wild and windy and wet penzance. Bobs is arriving tomorrow and then it's the first easy 16 miles to and from lands end. I'm updating on the smartphone now and can't always get uppercase to work,so please forgive this, all our teacher friends! GIGX

In the news (click on this for article)

We're in the local Bradford paper today and I'm off to London on Thursday, so I guess it must be happening.
Hope this heatwave summer isn't a joke!

Training, Mick style!

Saw a lot of great london pubs today and bravely cycled past most of them. But not quite all! 2012 site getting on well too. Thanks for the support mick. From gig

What's our motivation?

How about some motivational quotes to keep us going when things get tough?
Here's a few to start with.......

' It doesn't matter how slowly you go, so long as you don't stop.' Confuscious

'Never give up and when in doubt, sing.' Henry Allingham (At 113 years, the worlds oldest man from May to July 09)

'I would bike 500 miles and I would bike 500 more just to be the one who biked 1000 miles......' The Proclaimers on bicycles.

T minus 14 and counting.....

Not long now. We're all training as often as we can. Rach has been interviewed for the Telegraph and Argus (Bradford local!) and promises a link to that.
Am I extremely excited or in a total panic????
